It's been a long weekend. With the daytime highs only in the teens the kids have spent the whole weekend indoors. They were going stir crazy so we have played lots of board games and cards. Yesterday afternoon we made chocolate brownies with cherries I had frozen from my cherry tree. They made a huge mess but we all had alot of fun and the brownies tasted great. School is in session tomorrow as a snow makeup day so in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. we watched his "I Have a Dream" speech online today. It was nice to discuss with them what they thought of his speech and their feelings.
