My email was hacked!!

I was enjoying the evening with my family and decided to check my emails after my kiddos went to be. I was shocked to find that there were hundreds of bounced email notices in my inbox from strange email addresses. I checked my sent emails and at least a thousand spam emails have been sent from my email account and all my current messages were being forwarded to some strange Yahoo email address. My internet tech help is closed until the morning but I was able to change my password so I hope that will keep them out of my account. If anyone recieved spam email titled Let's Share the Blessing from my email address I am so, so, so sorry!!! Has this ever happened to anyone else?
