Fabulous Fall

I can't believe how fast the weather is changing here. The temperature went from the 70's last week to the 50's this week. The foliage is beautiful right now. It's going to be a fantastic Halloween this year.

Three weeks ago I had a miscarriage. I'm heartbroken. I've taken some time off from my blog but am starting to feel better and will try to post more often.

Excited and A Little Scared!!

As you might have guessed by the new button on my sidebar I have recently found out we are expecting a new bundle of joy! Talk about a big surprise!!! I found out about a week and a half ago and I'm just now getting over the shock. I'm so nervous about this pregnancy! My three kiddos were all born premature and I spent substantial amounts of time on bed rest and in and out of the hospital with each one. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated on how we are doing!

Is This Really August!

What an amazing week! I can't believe how perfect the temperature has been here! Everyday was in the low to mid 80's. I can't believe this is really August. How's the weather been where you are?

Rain, Rain GO AWAY!!

I can't believe it's rained so much here recently! While it's been nice having some extra days off we have lost so much income from our small business. )-: It looks like tomorrow is clear so it's back off to work but then they are calling for rain again Wed. UGGH! Every summer it's either to dry or to wet. On the bright side at least everything is still so green and beautiful this year!

Ouch!!

While working with my husband today I was trimming a small patch of grass near the parking lot of a resort we take care of. There was apparently a broken glass bottle hidden in the grass and when my trimmer hit it a large piece of glass flew up and cut my leg. Ouch!!The cut was pretty deep and wide. As a former nurse I know it probably needed a few stitches but I was trying to be tough and had him drive my to the pharmacy for the butterfly bandages and cover. It's been so tender tonight. If it's not feeling a little better by tomorrow I'm going to have to give in a go to the doctor. We are so busy right now. This is a horrible time to have to be slowed down with an injured leg! Here's to hoping I heal quickly.

How everyone's summer?

I hope everyone has been having a great summer! I've been really busy working with our small business. The work is hard but the great news is I lost 20 lbs so far. I'm finally fitting back in all my prebaby clothes! Has anyone taken any great vacations this summer?

Sorry I haven't posted recently

I have been so busy helping my husband with our landscaping business. I'm just so tired when I get home most evenings and haven't had alot of spare time on my hands. I hope everyone is having a great summer!

I've been so busy!!

I haven't been able to post as much to my blog this month because the mowing season has begun and I have been so busy helping my husband with his business. Boy am I tired!! I hope to be able to do some extra catching up on the weekends and I look forward to getting caught up reading my favorite blogs!
